How To Write A Short Essay In 15 Minutes

In the first sentence, tell the reader what you're about to introduce to them.

Next, elaborate in about three sentences with context why you're doing so and what the reader can expect from it.

Follow These Three Steps Before You Start Drafting

Step 1: Identify Three Key Points You Want To Introduce

This is important so that you understand the key messages in your essay.

Look at this essay. It has 3 Key Points and they aim to convey to you why it's useful to do so. Similarly, it's helpful to start with the structure instead of going word by word.

Step 2: Enter Those Key Points As Subheadings

Once you identify key headings, you need to elaborate a bit on those headings.

Why is this important enough to be a heading and not just a sentence? It's reasonable to spend some time identifying the headings. Good headings often convey enough to someone to skims.

Step 3: Fill In Those Key Points

This is important to provide more context and examples.

You can add mistakes people do or you yourself have made. You can also explain what benefits the reader gets from following this subheading.

That's it! This is all you need to draft an essay in 15 minutes.
